Care Guide

A guide to longer lasting blooms

  • With flower cutters trim the end of the stem on an angle, approx. 1-2cm.
  • Place flowers in a clean & sturdy vase with fresh water.
  • Ensure nothing sits below the water line, as bacteria can form in the water.
  • Display flowers in a cool spot, away from drafts, direct sunlight & heating or cooling areas.
  • Repeat these steps every second day.

Indoor Plants

  • Keep plant in a warm & well lit area; avoid drafts, direct sunlight & heating or cooling areas.
  • Low watering is required, at least once a week or check the soil as an indicator to see if your plant is thirsty or over watered.
  • Feed plant with slow release fertiliser every 3 months. Extra fertiliser is needed after Winter months.
  • Cut or trim away any leaves/flowers that are no longer healthy.

Dried Flowers

  • Place dried blooms in a clean, dry, sturdy vase.
  • Display in a cool & safe spot; away from drafts, direct sunlight & heating or cooling areas. Fading of colours may occur over time.
  • Dried blooms do not need water & can be enjoyed for a long time.
  • Light dusting is required, at least once a month or when needed. A hairdryer, put on a low setting, approx. 30cm away, can be used to remove dust.
  • BF locally source & naturally dry flowers/foliage, however, some have been imported & chemically sprayed or preserved. Please keep away from children & pets. Always wash your hands after handling dried flowers.
